These terms govern access to Editorial Submission’s website, publisher tools, and hosted journal submission sites. By creating an account or submitting a manuscript, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

Editorial Submission provides software for manuscript submission, peer review, editorial decisions, and related journal operations. Publishers may host one or more journals after platform approval. Journal editorial policies remain the responsibility of each publisher.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate account information and keep credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Platform administrators may suspend access that threatens security, integrity, or lawful use of the service.

3. Publisher applications

Starting a journal creates a pending publisher application. Journals remain inactive and do not accept submissions until the platform approves the publisher. Misrepresentation in an application is grounds for rejection or suspension.

4. Manuscripts and content

Authors retain ownership of their manuscripts subject to each journal’s author agreement and license terms. By uploading content you confirm you have the rights to submit it and that it does not unlawfully infringe others’ rights. Editors and reviewers must handle confidential manuscripts appropriately.

5. Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to bypass access controls, scan for vulnerabilities without permission, or upload malware.
• Do not harass users or misuse reviewer/author identity information.
• Do not use the platform for spam or unrelated commercial advertising.

6. Integrations

Optional ORCID and Crossref features depend on credentials and policies configured by each journal. Editorial Submission is not responsible for third-party service outages or policy changes.

7. Availability

We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, security events, or hosting issues may temporarily limit access.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Editorial Submission is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Editorial decisions remain with journal editors and publishers.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
